Mom Mystery Solved: Why I’m Always Tired But Never Hungry

always tiredThe other night I closed my laptop, prepped my coffee for the morning, and laid down to go to sleep. Then this happened:

11:00: My daughter woke up crying and burning up. I gave her some Tylenol, put on Curious George, and cuddled with her on the couch for about an hour.

12:00: Put my daughter back to bed. Had an obligatory midnight snack. Climbed into my own bed.

12:10: My son woke up sad, crying, and I think he may have been teething. Nursed him, cuddled, watched some more Curious George.

1:00: Put my son back to bed. Ate a not-so-obligatory snack.

6:00: Woke up to my well-rested son happily imploring me to get up.

5 hours of sleep + 2 late night snacks = Why I’m always tired but never hungry
